Steve Beacham
Steve Beacham came to Eureka Springs, Arkansas in 1979 to study porcelain as an apprentice at Spring Street Studio. He began his career forming simple shapes, creating functional pieces such as mugs and bowls.
As his knowledge and skills increased, so did the sophistication of his designs which now include intricate teapots and fountains, figural sculptures and his elegant “Celtic Ware”.
The artist draws on both his early background in Animal Husbandry and Vocational Agricultural and his love of the beauty of the Ozarks for inspiration and subject matter.
Steve’s creations are sometimes whimsical, especially his dragon pieces and faucet fountains, and are meant to bring on a smile.
His pottery is included in hundreds of private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Canada, China and New Zealand.
